Happy Holidays Mind4Youth community, and welcome back to the Mind4Youth Mindful Minutes! Our team has been quite busy this winter and here’s a quick recap of everything that’s been happening in our community.
Deep Thinking

This is a new section we’re creating to share kind messages and promote a positive environment for our audience online. Today’s deep thought is:
“People are a lot like snowflakes. In the clouds, they all come from different circumstances and factors that build and shape who they are. No one snowflake is the same just like no one person is – there is no one size fits all. Never forget that you are a product of your own journey, and your own circumstance unique to you; it’s part of what makes us all special and beautiful as individuals.”
This was today’s deep thought. If you have any helpful advice, feel free to comment it in the form below. We’d love to see what you come up with and feature it in our next newsletter.

Mindful Connections at Mind4Youth

This December, Mind4Youth formed a partnership with World Youth Club to help scale our care-kit programs across the globe.
World Youth Club is a global youth organization whose mission is to strengthen community-based youth organizations worldwide and empower young people. With over 4,000 affiliate clubs in more than 50 countries, they have served as a key support system for over 500,000 youth.
We are extremely grateful to World Youth Club for partnering with us, and we will do our best to provide resources to as many affiliates as possible. We look forward to supporting joint initiatives together for years to come.
Self-care with S.E.L.F Care

In the month of December, our S.E.L.F Care program has been extremely active.
As of last Tuesday, our S.E.L.F Care program donated over 1,400 self-care items to Huckle Berry Youth Programs, 3rd Street Youth Center & Clinic, and Lyric Center For LGBTQQ+ Youth located in the bay area. These products consisted of cosmetics from Lush and Sephora targeted at supporting wellness, boosting confidence, and promoting daily self-care.
We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these organizations’ missions of uplifting youth wellness, and we hope that our kits were well received. Thank you to everyone who made this initiative possible, and especially to the Riley’s Way Foundation for contributing.

In addition to the kits donated last Tuesday, S.E.L.F Care also reached out to Hope’s Corner based in Mountain View California where 30 board games were donated.
Here at Mind4Youth, we understand how important social interaction is to mental well-being. By distributing these board games, we hope to support recreational activities and help foster a safe space where families can socialize, take care with themselves, and emotionally thrive.

During the holidays, everyone deserves a friend. Friends play a huge role in our emotional support circles, and contribute greatly to our mental health.
This holiday season, our Self-Care program donated around 50 teddy bears to youth shelters across the bay area, trying to give as many kids a friend to have this winter.
Thank you to everyone who collaborated as we tried to give as many kids a friend this holiday season.
Crafting Care with ArtCare

Artcare has been a core program here at Mind4Youth, donating nearly 15,000 wellness cards to youth struggling with their mental health. Each card is carefully crafted by our volunteers to express kindness in ways to support undersourced youth in their mental health journeys.
Although cards have been our main source of creative media to deliver kindness, we understand that other sources of creative expression can work just as well. As of this month, volunteers can now officially submit other hand crafted items to our Artcare Program!
Whether it’s embroidery, paintings, or bracelets, we’d love to see what you create, and how you use your creativity to share kindness with others. Submit any artwork you have today, by using the link below:
